Location: New Bern, NC
This Quality Inspector is responsible for leading inspections and reviews to ensure quality control and product conformity for customer requirements and business operations.
Responsibilities
· Develop methods for inspection and evaluation
· Maintain verification records and document inspections, traceability, testing, etc.
· Assist in resolution of customer complaints and supplier quality issues for non-conformance reports and corrective action
· Manage tool calibration and maintenance records
· Approve ASI-generated models/drawings and production work order templates for clarity and conformance to specifications
· Perform inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure conformance with specifications, established quality standards and customer requirements
· Authorize release of parts, issuing CoC’s and serviceable tags
· Determine disposition of parts owned by ASI based on the technical team recommendations
· Support with part making, warehouse management and shipping
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/quality/inspection
· 3+ years of experience in A&D industry
