DESCRIPTION:
We are hiring for an Account Manager responsible for managing and nurturing the company’s Key Accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of the defense supply chain and the ability to drive sales and revenue growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute sales objectives, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and negotiate contracts
- Streamline and maintain standard procedures used to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Coordinate a cross-functional team to review opportunities and develop winning pricing strategies to maximize the company’s capture rate
- Implement strategies for customer retention and growth in conjunction with Account Managers to achieve ASI’s vision
- Provide mentorship, guidance and support to help Account Managers achieve their goals
- Manage relationships with Key Accounts, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction
- Work with necessary departments to resolve customer Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
- Work and collaborate with Business Development team on their initiatives
- Conduct market research as needed to identify opportunities
- Responsible for presenting regular reports on account status, sales performance and market insights
- Coordinate transition of new accounts from the Business Development team to the Account Management team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of Account Management or related field experience
- 6+ years of experience in the A&D industry
- Must have prior experience handling large OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
- Leadership experience preferred
- 50% travel required
