Job Description:
We are looking for an entry-to-mid-level Account Manager that would be responsible for managing and nurturing customer relationships within their portfolio of Accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of the defense supply chain and the ability to drive sales and revenue growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Streamline and maintain standard procedures used to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner, escalating complex issues to the VP of Business Development
- Work with the Business Development team to develop and execute sales objectives, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and negotiate contracts
- Coordinate a cross-functional team to review opportunities and develop winning pricing strategies that maximize the company’s capture rate
- Conduct market research as needed to identify opportunities
- Responsible for presenting regular reports on account status, sales performance and market insights
- Manage customer Request for Quotes (RFQs) and subsequent Sales Order process
- Work with necessary departments to resolve customer Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Maintain frequent touchpoints with customers
- Manage review, identification and quoting of opportunities on various B2B platforms
- Coordinate amongst internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute customer contracts
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s offerings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2+ years of Account Management or related field experience
- 3+ years of experience in the A&D industry preferred
- Experience with Quantum Control ERP system preferred
- 10% travel required
