Description

  • This position supports the Operations Team
  • This position is responsible for building relationships with vendors
  • Must have a basic understanding of aerospace part manufacturing, logistics and the supply chain process

Roles and responsibilities

  • Working comprehension of quoting/purchasing/expediting material in support of customer requirements
  • Basic understanding of technical drawings
  • Basic understanding of the manufacturing process

Examples of tasks

  • Quoting items for purchasing purposes
  • Entering purchase orders in accordance with production schedule deadlines
  • Interface with internal and external individuals and departments as necessary to resolve discrepancies

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering required
  • 2 years experience within aerospace parts manufacturing and assemblies
  • Ability to use/understand technical publications
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a fast pace, attention to detail
